When to admit to hospital

Inevitably, most patients presenting with an exacerbation of COPD will end of on antibiotics, but evidence suggests this doesn't need to be the case. The aim of this programme is to reduce overall antibiotic prescribing for patients presenting to primary care with a COPD exacerbation.
